Handbuilt White Earthenware, Incised And Painted Freehand Decoration, Slip Trailing, Gloss And Satin Glazes And Gold Luster.

These ornate, wall-mountable isosceles platters testify to my recent overwhelming desire for ornamentation and play with color families. Probably as a result of starting them in the winter months. Light and dark, shiny and satin, raised and incised, and the colors themselves wander through a variety of subtle tonal contrasts across the piece. Gold luster accents add the finishing touch of luxe.
